Jake Boland

Director of Grassroots Program


About: Jake holds a NSCAA Premier Coaching Diploma and USSF D License. He is the director of the BWP Grassroots Program which includes Summer Camps and Youth Academies that run throughout the soccer season.  Jake has a BA in Philosophy, Polics and Law from Binghamtom University, a graduate of Shaker High School and fomer collegiate player for Plattsburgh University. Jake is also a member of the technical staff coaches at BWP Albany.

Lauren Tourtellott
Associate Staff Coach Grassroots Program

About: Lauren joined BWP in 2013 and coached the U18 girls for 2 years and is now the U12 girls coach. She played for the University of Rhode Island and Sacred Heart University (2005-2009) and was a scholar athlete in college. She also has her NSCCA National Coaching Diploma and National and is Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS). Lauren is also a licensed physical therapist. 

Emmie Doin
Associate Staff Coach Grassroots Program

Emmie Doin joined the Black Watch Premier coaching staff in 2013 and attended SUNY Cortland where also played soccer. She is currently the assistant coach at Skidmore College and former coach of Alleycats Latham & Clifton Park clubs. She possess a National Diploma and currently coaches the Black Watch Premier U10/U12 girls and U17/U18 girls teams.

The BWP Administrative Team main objectives are to support the BWP Technical Staff, the implementation of our programming and the needs of our Club membership. BWP executes the day-to-day operations of the Club’s business. 

Currently, the BWP Administrative Team consists of:

•    Steve Freeman, Director of Programming, 19 years

•    Frank Romeo, Creative Director, 8 years

Black Watch Premier (BWP) is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization recognized in New York State. The BWP Board of Trustees meets regularly to give guidance, create policy and give general oversight to the programming of the Club’s business. 

The BWP Board of Trustees consists of:
